Practice 1 : "Fabrick Beehive" (2015 - )

In urban areas, there are many vacant spaces on the top of existing buildings. Those spaces have potentials to be used as new public space, with small architectural pavilions for specific activities.
Our project is aiming at using those spaces for public urban beehives. About two thirds of foods on the earth would be diminished if bees disappeared from our environment. We designed carriable, transportable, and stackable architectural modules for both bees and people. We hope that our 3D Printed bricks fabricated by ArchiFAB contribute to new urban ecology.
